Encompass Southwest offers supported accommodation properties for 18’s+ across Barnstaple & Bideford. This includes a mixed gender 8 bed, female only 6 bed, and some 1-2 occupants properties in Barnstaple. In Bideford a mixed gender 9 bed and a 4 bed male only property. All properties offer comfortable accommodation to those at risk of homelessness or who are rough sleeping. Residents receive a minimum of 3 hours support per week which is based around individual’s needs and gaols. Our aim is to prepare residents for independent living by providing them with support and skills in the following areas; 

• Understanding a tenancy, bill’s and property management 
• Living with other people, such as a house share 
• Preparing food on a budget 
• Accessing work and education 

Residents are encouraged to come together in regular activities like house meetings, group cooking, days out and a variety of physical, art & wellbeing opportunities.

We aim to improve the psychological and emotional well-being of people accessing, or working in, our services.
