The Junction is a free, independent and confidential advice and support service aimed at 16 and 17 year olds that can help resolve problems with housing and homelessness. It operates across Northern Devon and is funded by BBC Children in Need.
The Junction can offer:
- support and advice on housing issues
- help with welfare benefits and money matters
- referrals and signposting to other agencies
- advocacy
- emergency accommodation
- access to family mediation
- education around homelessness
It’s never too early (or too late) to get help!
If you are experiencing problems relating to your housing you should contact The Junction immediately. No matter how big or small your questions or problems are, we are here to help.
In a crisis The Junction can provide emergency accommodation with either a Host Family or a trusted Guest House, as well as food parcels, clothes, travel warrants etc.
